Judaism
This symbol is calledDavid's star, from the
Bible, a holy book.
Introduction:
I did Judaism, because of the interesting topics and because I am a Christian.
Founder:
The founder of Judaism, Abraham, originating from the land of Canaan. One of the largest religions, they have about 14 million followers world wide. The Jews worship one God, and they are still searching for the Messiah to come.
Jewish Holy Book:
The Jewish holy book is called the Torah and the day of worship, Sabbath Day, is every Saturday. In contrast to the Sabbath Day of Christians, on Sunday.
Holidays:
The Jews have many Religious holidays including Days of Awe, Hanukkah, Passover, Purim, Jewish New Year, Festival of Booths and Tu B'Shevat. The Passover, in Bible times, was when the people put the blood of a perfect lamb over their doorway. They did this because the angel of death would sweep over the houses, and if you didn't do that, the angel of death would kill the firstborn son. They also celebrate this day, because of the time when Moses led the Israelites, out of Egypt.
Rituals:
They also have some rituals and customs like, the Mitzuot, the 613 Commandments, the Robbonic Law and the Synagogue are a few. The Jews also wear a prayer shawl, garb, white robe and a Kipa, or hat. They curl their hair and beards. The Synagogue has a hierarchy beginning with the elected president, to oversee the council, and finally the Rabbi and so on, all empowered.
I really liked researching on this religion. Check out this link if you want to learn more.
Those are some good facts but you stated them just in one giant list and didn't explain what some things were, such as holidays. It's quite short too. And the last two sentences don't really fit so I would think about moving it into a new section, but besides all those errors great job friend!
